Stencils & Chemicals

Electrolytes

One of the key elements in the electro- chemical marking process is the electrolyte. The electrolyte used depends on the metal being marked and the type of mark required. There are different electrolytes for each family of metals and metal alloys. There are a number of alloys, platings, and coatings in use today. It is often difficult to make a firm recommendation unless a sample is submitted for test marking. We encourage you to contact our factory or your distributor.
The electrolyte chart provided can be used as a reliable guide.

Neutracleaners

(Not Shown)
Neutracleaners are used to clean parts before marking, when required.
Neutracleaner #1-FOR FERROUS ALLOYS
Neutracleaner #2-FOR NON-FERROUS ALLOYS

Neutralyte

For use after the marking process is complete. To prevent any rusting or corrosion on your part. A wiping action or soaking can be used.

Polarized Oil

(Not Shown)
Thin oil to be used as a rust inhibitor and protectant. Use after neutralizing.

Die Impressed Stencils

A special die can be made to meet your needs where constant and changing information is required. The die is then impressed onto the impression stencil material.
Die impressed stencils are also available in sheets and rolls.

9002 3 3/4" x 7" flat. 100 per box.
9003 2 1/2" x 20' roll.
9004 3 3/4" x 20' roll.
Die impressed stencils available in all standard size sheets, rolls and types of standard paper. Pre-serialized rolls of impression stencil available upon request.

Impression Stencils

Impression stencils were developed for the low volume user. The stencils provide the user with the flexibility to produce typewritten quality marks, easily and economically. The process should be used when numbers or letters are changed constantly. Pre-numbered stencil rolls are also available. Contact our factory or your distributor for details. Impression stencil paper is available in sheets and rolls.
The limitation of this material is that of necessity; finer lines and type print better than heavy, bolder lines.

Photographic Stencils

Stencils are constructed of a photo- sensitive material specifically developed for the electromarking process.
• Photographic stencils are for the medium to high volume user who requires a long life stencil.*
• Manufactured to meet customers needs and specifications for logos, numbers, or any special design as required. A stencil can be as simple as a series of numbers or as graphic as a company logo.
• Our Graphic Art Department can provide you with quality design. We can also reproduce your artwork.
• Photographic stencils are available in standard and special sizes.

* Stencil life depends on application and care.

Photographic Stencil Caps
